Slim Stack Stackable Shelving System will allow you to maximize your existing floor space. In most situations, you can double your storage capacity in the same footprint. You can often store existing records in half the space used by your current system.

Lowest vertical height profile - Stackable shelving allows more files within a given height. A letter size stackable is only 10" high and provides a clearance of 9 7/8". Compare to some shelving that has a 10.5" shelf-to-shelf measurement, yet only offers 9 3/4" clearance.

Most filing inches per shelf - In comparison to some shelving systems that provide only 34" of net filing inches on a 36" wide shelf, a 36" wide stackable tier provides 35.5", an increase of 4%. In a large file room, with 85 eight level shelf sections, this amounts to more than 1,000 additional filing inches.

Level flexibility and ease of expansion - Since each stackable level is an independent storage level, stackable sections can be ordered in any configuration required. Need only four levels, OK. Want to add one more level later, OK.

Sprinkler Head Clearances - Many government and accrediting agencies have directed that all shelving must be installed so that a minimum clearance of 18" exists between a sprinkler head and the top of file shelving. Movable Shelving Systems with Slim Stack Shelving will allow the installation of a seven level movable system with a total height of 77", exactly 18" below a typical 8' sprinkler head.
