Vertical Speed: 65 ft/min, 132 ft/min, or 150 ft/min
Control: Manual and/or computer interface

The advantages of the vertical lift revolve around the single pan access. Unlike a vertical carousel, where every access results in the entire payload being rotated, only the specific pan requested is accessed.
